More Vintage Ink

Hi,

I know I am going to be confused all week with yesterday having been a holiday here in England. It doesn't take much to confuse me at the best of times : )

More Cocoa Daisy shares today before I get back to work.
(I will prewarn you if you follow my blog, I work in the wedding world so you will here me say that lots through until October now. Everything evolves around work now)

So this little page showing a glimpse of our garden in the summer.
Ade's the gardener in our house. I leave him to it. He plants up all the borders with veggies. I love it!! It looks so good. He does the front garden like that too.

I love these large Jenni Bowlin Alpha Stickers.

And in one of the addons was a Glitz Mini Book. I used some of the papers from the kit to cover the chipboard pages and make extra pages too.
As this is the third year we've holiday'd in Charmouth I decided to just document little stories this year.

Our first stroll on the beach after unpacking, I found this large rock to scribble on knowing straight away it would be the front cover for a new mini book.

And that's it!!
The kit is selling out super fast. Most of the addons are now sold out, but I do believe there still are some kits for sale. Fancy one??? Then click here.

I hope you had a lovely weekend. 4 day weekends should be more frequent. It's been bliss and so rare on the May Bank Holiday that we get sun too.
We had a picnic with our football gang on Saturday after the boys trained. We also had a wicked game of rounders (English version of baseball). Ade and I are still sore today : )
I must say though, we both played so well. I haven't hit a ball since school days and was so surprised that not only did I hit it first go but I could whack it one.
Go Me!!!! But now we are paying for it.
I did uncover a competitive side to me that I didn't realise I had. Like the time when I was jumping up and down and cheering as I'd got a 5yr old out. That feels rather shameful now : ) And the time when I was really going for my rounder and not only colided with Louis who was on the oppisite team but fell right over him taking him full out and cutting his lip : ( tut tut... shouldn't have ran infront of me eh?!!

And yesterday we went to Windsor and had a really really good day.

And now.... it's work for me : )
See you later xxx

  8. Was really not looking forward to the long weekend being over. Lily is off school again on Thursday as they use it as the polling station, so a strange week for us aswell!

  9. Lisa you crack me up--plowing over your poor son! I can get a bit of a competitive streak myself and it always sorta shocks me. I actually can really wack a ball myself and the first time I did in front of my husband he was so surprised! I loved it :)
