So here they are, my fave pages of 2010.
This first one is my number one, I think alot of that has to do with the story aswell though.
(they can all be clicked on to view up close)
So there you go.
I've just finished making my last page of 2010 which will be shown over at The Studio on Sunday.
Off to pack to go to my Sister's for the night now. A night of silliness, games, food and a Dominoes delivery at 12.30 midnight (it's become a tradition).
Happy New Years to you all my lovely friends. It's been quite a year for me scrapbooking wise. Joining both Cocoa Daisy and also Fancy Pants. 2 big dreams come true for me. I feel so grateful. I've also made lots of new scrappy friends and feel even closer to my older friends, some of which feel closer than my own family members these days. Love you all : )
Thank you for all your love and support.
Have fun and see you next year.

A New Kit and a Scraplift
I've actually felt rather scrappy over this Christmas. First time ever.
I sewed most of this LO whilst watching a film a couple of nights ago.
It's Anja's Sketch and Scraplift Contest from Cocoa Daisy which you can see here.
/>
The photo isn't perfect, kinda blurry actually, but for this page I really like it.
Abit of misting with the fantastic Mister Huey White Mist, Oh how I love that stuff and lots and lots of hand stitching.
All about how Hollie hasn't been so excited this year over Christmas. Just isn't so cool once you go to senior school I guess.
The Cocoa Daisy reveal for the new kit was a couple of nights ago.
I've had so much fun with this latest kit. It's called Domestic Bliss.
You can view the kit and the addons here.
And they go on sale on Jan 1st.
Here's one of my pages I made using this kit.
Hollie still isn't well. The cold is lingering and she's still cutting her final set of molars making her feel rubbish.
We did hit the stores yesterday and the girlie shopped very well indeedy spending her Christmas money. She then came home and slept all afternoon : (
I do believe a family game of monopoly is about to start, so I'd better dash.
Tomorrow I will be posting my favourite Top 10 Pages I made in 2010. My friend Anna has done so on her blog here. She's so talented : ) I love her work.
So if you have time to do the same, please do leave me a link in my comments section. I thought it would be fun to share.

Good Morning, Good Morning : )
Tis the 28th December. I wish the days would slow down. I love the chilling and playing games this time of year. Just goes by too quickly for my liking.
I hope all my friends had a lovely Christmas. Did Santa visit?
I was very lucky to get 9 punches including 2 of my fave EK Sucess slimlime border punches. Plus some glimmer mists and a rather cool stitching gadget which I can't wait to play with.
I also got the new Jamie and Nigella cook books, more cookie cutters, coat and lots of bits. Lucky girl I am : )
So scrappy, what's going on?
The Studio have a sketch challenge up this week.
Fabi made this one. I love working with circles, so it's right up my street.
I made this one using a series of Dad cuddling with my two whilst watching tv.
And used last months Cocoa Daisy kit.
I've made a couple of things recently for Hollie.
I tarted up a very boring lamp for her new room. It cost under a fiver. Not bad!!
I've put step by step instructions on the Cocoa Daisy Blog if you'd like to see.
Here
And lastly, I made this little box for Hollie to put her jewellery in.
It was a plain black box from Cosmo Cricket.
Which I've covered in papers from last months Cocoa Daisy kit.
I love these colours.
The flower on top came with the kit too.
And inside I made compartments and a part for her rings.
I do hope you continue to enjoy the next few days of 2010.
Thank you for the lovely wishes.

Merry Christmas
So yesterday, a package arrived around lunch time with Cocoa Daisy all over the box.
Could I smile any wider????
Thankfully I'm organised this Christmas (and had a poorly daughter laid on the sofa - not so thankfull for that one) but then spent the next few hours scrapping at the table in the lounge. I managed to produce in the one afternoon a mini book and then in the evening knocked up 3 LO's.
The sneaks are above. I'm giddy about this kit. It's FAB!!!
More details and full reveal of this kit will be on Dec 28th here.
And if you fancy buying one. You will need to get in quick on Jan 1st here.
Christmas feel very chilled in this house this year. I like it that way best.
I've felt prepared all week, so have enjoyed lots of baking, entertaining friends a couple of evenings and we've watched a ton of movies.
I've got this page to show you from Twisted Sketches last week. I made it at our local crop beginning of the month.
The twist was 'Pop Dots' which I used to elevate here.
I love Sassafras. I don't think I could ever tire from their fun ranges.
There's a new sketch up this week, with a new twist.
If you have time to scrap over Christmas, check it out here.
I hope all my lovely scrappy friends have a great Christmas and enjoy the holidays.

Homemade Gifts
So, have you made any homemade gifts this year?
I've tarted up a few photo frames as gifts.
I made this one for my Mum using the Fancy Pants 'Hot Chocolate range'.
The kids are just at school until 1pm today. I'm nipping out to get the last few bits that still haven't arrived in the post. Booooooooo to Homebase and Amazon!!
Still no snow for us. I'm not sure it will stay that way though.
Enjoy your day xx

Baby it's Cold Outside
It really is cold isn't it?!
Warmer than it was, but still cold.
This week we've been doing things like this...writing letters to Santa.
These photos were taken last year (Hollie didn't want to write one this year)
And I used this new Sketchy Thursday sketch
And we decorated our tree after school on Monday. All the other deccies are now up and lights too. It feels very Christmassey and cozy : )
We've also baked chocolate chip cookies this week, I been Christmas shopping with a friend, done some pretty gift wrapping, made some honeycomb which I won't talk about and made the most delicious beef stew with cheese dumplings from my current fave magazine, which you can get the recipe from here.
All in all a busy but fun week.
The new sketch is up from Twisted Sketches.
Here's my sneak, you can see it here.

Christmas Bunting
Hello : )
Before I shoot off grocery shopping, I have my Christmas Banner/Bunting to share.
Every year I make something new and this year it's this.
All the papers are from the 'Tradition' collection by Fancy Pants.
And all the 'how-to' details are over at Cocoa Daisy, which you can read here.
I've added lots of stickles glitter and the mica snow from this months Cocoa Daisy kit to add a real winter touch.
Lots to do today.

Looking for a Pen?
I've tarted up this little pot for Papermaze this week.
It was chocolate chips and now thank to these Crate Paper 'Snow Day' papers is now a fancy little pen pot.
It will be heading my sister's way this Christmas. The colours fit her kitchen perfectly and she can never find a pen.
Please check out Papermaze blog for details of how I made it and the links for supplies.

Feeling Abit Sketchy
Then Sketchy Thursdays has something for you.
Look at this cool sketch : )
Here's what I made.
My odd husband has a thing for man bags. He's also a hoarder, will happily receive anything being given away and will not throw anything away. To the point when I sort out, he now goes through the bin to see what I've thrown away. Wierdo!!
My sister, and brother inlaw just rip the 'p' out of him all the time.
It's so easy to do.
So here is Ade showing my Dad last week his new man bag.
He was very excited about it.
Ade not my Dad, I don't think Dad was too fussed really : )
Oh well, it gave the rest of us a giggle.
I meant to point you in the direction of this yesterday and completely forgot. Please check this out, you will love it.
Don't you think that's just a work of art?

Waffling Wednesday
Hello!!!!
I'm having a bit of a catch up today.
I think I'm starting to feel back in control again after a hard few weeks.
I'm up to date with work, I have fresh groceries in the fridge, a decent family meal was cooked last night with a full menu written for this week, house is tidy (except for those usual Ade areas)Christmas cards are made and written. Tree is bought ready for next week, shopping almost done, so I'm feeling ok.
Bring it on!!!!!
I made this page a while ago for Papermaze.
Remember when Ade and I met Anna in London back in October?
This photo was taken on the London Eye. A silly snapshot, but it's one of my favourites : )
I used lots of the Crate Restoration. I still love this collection.
You can read more about this page, the layering and the supplies here.
Another project for Papermaze.
I used My Little Shoebox papers for this card, some paint for the background and this cute Martha Stewart Butterfly Border Punch.
And a card using a sketch from Card Patterns and papers from Sassafras.
And lastly here is my recent page made for Twisted Sketches. I showed a sneak from this a couple of weeks ago.
The new sketch will be up later today.
I now have some Fancy Pants projects to work on and something for Papermaze too.
I quite fancy a craft day : )
Thanks for stopping by xxx
