You & Me .....On the go

I was going through my Florida photos and thought ' I like that one, I'll print it'.
And then realised that we were in the rest room and the loo was visible.
Nice!!

So I ended up making a thing about it rather than trying to hide it as I thought I may originally do.

I used the Heidi Swapp 'Love this' stamp as a border.
We have a Cocoa Daisy blog post here featuring this months stamps.

I hope you are having a good weekend.
It's a little of everything here.
Work, house chores, decorating, blog scheduling, an exciting trip planning and I'd like to squeeze in some scrapping too.

Have fun xxx

Silliness and Stamping

Both are part of todays LO.
A very silly story using one of my September Cocoa Daisy stamps.

I used one of the scribble stamps to create the border around my photos.

And this is the silly story:

We were waiting at the airport for my Dad to arrive after no having seen him for a year. It all gets very silly and giggly the 3 of us kids together. We love this special time every year. The excitement and his arrival.

There's always a joke about me baing the favourite. My sister always trys to push me out of the way, This year I made a sign saying 'The Favourite Daughter'. I asked my brother to take a photo of us 3 together and then whipped out the sign : )

We have some really fun stamps over at Cocoa Daisy this month. You can see them all here and see some great examples of how they have been used.

Have a lovely day xx

Sew Arty

I have been loving the exclusive Cocoa Daisy stamps these past few months.
Having a few stamps arrive with my kit each month has really got me back into stamping again.
I'm often trying to think up new ways of using them.

We are in the midst of a lounge room revamp.
I'm working on creating a gallery wall.
I picked up some wooden embroidery hoops in a thrift shop a while ago. So I thought it would be fun to make my own little piece of art with one of them.
I took one of the kids old cotton school shirts, some inks and the little tree stamps from cd this month and made this.

There's a blog post at Cocoa Daisy this week showing the others ways the team used the stamps.
I think Anna gets the prize this month. I just love what she made.
Take a look here.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a fab weekend xx

Feeling Happy

I'm designing again today for Cocoa Daisy.

My fellow DT member and good friend Anna set a fun challenge where we have to use stamps as a main part of our design. So using the stamps that came in the November Cocoa Daisy kit, I made this.

I used the stamps to border my photo and to journal on.
I also used my fave colours : )

Ade took this photo of me whilst we were in Island of Adventures in Orlando. I just remember feeling so happy and chilled. It was so hot, the kids had queued up and gone on a ride alone and we stood and waited for them and took photos of them on the ride whilst they waved and laughed. We chatted and enjoyed the few minutes alone. We'd have never let them do this during the last trip and now just a couple of years older and we can do this without any worries.
Happy days.

If you'd like to reach for those stamps and join Anna and myself in this challenge, please see here for more details. You have until 4th December to play.
Here's the full kit if you'd like to take a look.
I coloured my Thickers over with a Pro Marker Pen and doodled over in black.

The postie has just delivered my December Kit.
I'm off to open it now : )

Have a great day xxx
