Just popping in quickly with a little piece of daisy art.
I made this canvas for Christine from Cocoa Daisy and gave it to her at CHA.
I'm looking forward to the Cocoa Daisy Reveal tomorrow night. I'm so happy with my LO's this month.
In the meantime, my dizziness has gotten worse : (
The meds are knocking me out and it's not very fun.
Hugs x

I *heart* this kit
If it's at all possible to be 'in love' with a scrapbooking kit, then that's what I am.
I don't care if it sounds odd, I know most of you would get it.
Here are my sneaks so you can see what I mean.
I'm about to start LO 5.
Come and join us for the full reveal on the 28th here.
The addons have been selling out so fast that Christine has got in extra this month.
I can see this one going just as fast though, it's truely amazing. Everything that I highlighted as a fave at CHA is in this kit.
I could easily have the whole kit over again and hands up ''I got every single addon this month''.
I know I'm greedy!! But I just didn't want to miss out on a single thing.
I also wanted to share that there is a special 3 month subbing offer on until 1st March. I know lots of people ask me about the kits and not everyone wants to commit to 6 months. A 3 month sub could be your anser to try it out. There's more info for you here.
I haven't been here for a few days.
I'm still struggling with this dizzy head. Infact it's gotten worse again since last night.
I'm tired and dizzy. Not funny : (
Thanks for all the well wishes.
Lots of scrappy love xxx

Oh So Floaty
I'm having a floaty day.
This LO fits perfect.
I put the next 'Pleased to Meet you' challenge up over at Cocoa Daisy yesterday.
This month we are focusing on Kim Stewart's style.
Kim is quite new to Cocoa Daisy, if you aren't familair with her style, I urge you to take a look at her blog here. It's most of the most beautiful I've ever seen.
Her style is so floaty and dreamy.
So this challenge is all about being inspired by this person's style.
Here is my LO using the white space, floaty layers and a little paint and glitter.
I printed my journaling straight onto my cardstock.
I made my own flowers from a punch on plain card and then mixed up some scrylic pink paint, acrylic medium and moulding paste. It gave such a great texture and then I sprinkled over some pink glitter.
I used my Feb Cocoa Daisy kit to make up my layers and added a small piece of pale pink vellum.
I loved mixing up the pale with the bright colours.
And then my journaling.
If you feel inspired, please take a look for more examples of Kim's work here at Cocoa Daisy.
We will be playing until 13th March.
I've still got my dizzy head : (
I saw the dr yesterday and have been told I have Labyrinthitus.
I think there are lots of names for this, but it's basically an inner ear infection (viral).
I've been told I need to slow down and the only thing to help it is rest.
Yea right!!
I wish.
But I have some meds to help with the dizziness, but I actually feel worse today.
Not so much dizzy but such a fuzzy head like I'm in a bubble. It's so odd.
But I can't drive whilst I'm feeling like this.
I wouldn't have anyway as I know my reactions would be way off, but hearing it being told me made it feel worse.
Not that I like driving, as I don't, but knowing that I can't is a pain.
So all I need is a cleaner, a cook and someone to come and work for me and I'll be fine : )
Have a creative day.
Love xxx

I'm so Dizzy, (my head is spinning)
Happy Sunday to you!!
I have a funny head.
I woke up with it yesterday.
I was supposed to be displaying my wedding stationery stuff at a friend's wedding open day at her hair salon yesterday, but woke up with the room spinning and feeling so sick.
After going back to bed, I did get Ade to drive me and I set up and left it all there.
My head is still really odd though. Every now and then the room just spins or I feel in a completely in a giddy daze. Really strange.
But apart from that all is good : )
I have a LO to show here today from the Scrap365 sketch blog.
I love this months sketch which you can see here. I can see me using this one again.
I'm totally in love with the Scret Crush collection from Pink Paislee.
I printed this photo of Ade and I that Louis took of us on the beach at Anna Maria Island in Florida in October. I love the colour of that sea. It was about 5pm and the sun was starting to set.
I used one of the Pink Paislee Photograms that I hadn't used on my valentines banner shown in my previous post. Along with some of the matching Photo Frames. Love these!!
After meeting the girls/owner at the Chic Tags stand at CHA, I came home and placed an order with them.Their products are sooooo good. I found the postage really good from the US too. I placed a good size order and the postage was just $8. You can see the tags I used on this page here.
I also used the Cocoa Daisy Arrow Stamps with the Prima Chalk Inks and Ronda's Pie Chart Mask.
And whilst I mention Ronda, have you seen she has a new website?
Take a look.
I just love this bright site. I think you will love it too : )
If you fancy playing along with us at SCRAP365 you have until 15th March to upload your sketch here. One lucky winner will win some XCUT dies.
I hope you are having a lovely weekend xxx

Pink Paislee Valentines Banner
Hello.
It's been another busy week.
So much going on.
I wanted to show this that I made this week though using some gorgeous Pink Paislee Papers, Die Cuts and Frames that I was sent from Papermaze.
My Valentines Banner
I love decorating my fireplace and this banner is perfect this month.

My Valentines Banner
I love decorating my fireplace and this banner is perfect this month.
I used the Pink Paislee Artisan Ribbon to attach my wooden pages to. (just plain old clothes pegs)
I covered the large wooden pegs in the Secret Crush papers and sanded them down for a smooth finish and attached some hearts from this paper.
I printed some of our fave Orlando photos in 8x8cm and used these fames to show them off.
The pack of Die Cuts are so cute and you get so much in there. I have loads left in my pack.
I'm so pleased with this and can see it being there for a few weeks now.
We have friends over for a Valentines themed dinner party tomorrow evening so I've been busy decorating.
So much fun.
Have a lovely weekend xxx

Teaming up with...
Hello.
bbbbrrrrr a little chilly this morning.
I've just had to go and grab my slippers and scarf.
I may even NEED to go and make another latte to keep me warm.
We have a new Cocoa Daisy monthly blog feature starting today.
It's called 'Teaming Up With....'
Each month there will be a small group from the design team teaming up together and using the same item.
This month it's Sharmaine, Stephanie, Denise, Mandyk and myself.
It all came about during CHA when us girls had fun dressing up and playing in the photo booth on the CHA floor. I thought it would be fun for us all to scrap our photo using this months kit.
Here's my LO.
I describe it as a 'party on paper'.
This day was so so much FUN. I'd had a really bad headache the day before so that kind of took the edge off the day, plus we'd already spent 2 evenings and a whole day together at this point so we were all so chilled and giggly. It was the best day : )
We did a make and take with Dina Wakley, sat and chatted with Claudine Helmuth while she created, met Elle from Elle's Studio who was adorable and hung around the sexy men on the MME booth.
Oh and we got lots of candy and lollies from the Glitz stand (see the lolly in the photo).
It was fun fun fun.
I used my photo as a pocket to put bits and pieces from the day in and some journal cards.
The others have all come up with completely different ideas.
Take a look here.

A Favourite Story & A Sketch
Good Morning to You!!
We have yucky, mucky, sleety snow.
It's cold, wet and not very fun.
I did have a fab weekend though, so who cares about the weather?!!
I went along to my local crop and shared a wonderful day with a lovely group of friends. I no longer call them girls or ladies as they have become 'friends'. It was so good to sit, scrap and drink tea.
I taught a little class and got rather misty hands : )
A worked on our Cocoa Daisy sketch challenge that is running until the 19th Feb.
You can see the sketch and challenge here if you fancy playing.
It's worth just taking a look to see Emily's sample layout. I love how she just simplified it so beautifully. So different to mine. That's what I love about sketches.
Here's mine.

I used this months 'Double Feature' kit
Christine has managed to put some more extra kits together if you missed out on this months kit.
It sold out so fast again. I can understand why though, it's just stunning and so lovely to play with.
You can buy a kit here.
I love these little wooden arrows from Freckled Fawn. There are loads in with the main kit. All shaped and sizes.
I documented a fave story from our Orlando holiday. It's one that kept making us laugh. It's just funny to us as Ade is tubby and we tease him sometimes.
Here's the story.
I hope you feel inspired to play along with us at Cocoa Daisy.
I set up a thread on the message board this morning to come and chat about the challenge.
Come and join us.
I have a poorly Louis at home today. He has a nasty headache : (
Poor baby.
See you tomorrow xxx

Breath...and start again
That's what I need to do this morning.
Things haven't gone to plan.
I missed an appointment yesterday, I thought it was for today and now I'm feeling rubbish.
I'm having one of those 'bad mother moments'. I had an evening out on Wednesday. I got taken to a spa by a lovely friend and had the most awful migraine : (
I seem to rush around, work long hours running my own business, keep a clean tidy house, make nice meals with home baking inbetween, have the kid's friends over. .... I'm trying to be the perfect mother, wife, friend and business woman. I don't think it's possible to be perfect at everything. As much as I would like and try to.
So I've taken a deep breath this morning, made a latte, toasted a hot cross bun amd I'm going to strat all over again.
I did make a couple of LO's that I'm so happy with yesterday afternoon.
I had some gorgeous goodies this week from Chic Tags and a lovely box from Papermaze too with loads of Pink Paislee - Secret Crush. I had the LO's on the side of my desk and I've been laying bits here and there and swapping over these past couple of days. So yesterday I finally stuck it all in place and that felt good. I haven't had so much scrappy time this week.
Today though I'm going to dream of our 'happy place' and that is Orlando.
We are planning on an Oct 2014 visit and my heart just flutters thinking about it. It's just over 3mth since we've been back and that's all we talk about.
We love this place.
Here is a LO that I made for the magazine SCRAP365 some time ago.
At the resort where we stay there's a really quiet kiddie play area. We often start our day by wandering here with a mug of tea and some books. There's a play frame/slide, kiddie splash pool, loungers and this fab gazebo. And we've never seen anyone else in this spot : )
It's a lovely start to the day.
I dug out some old foam stamps for this page and made my own title. I stamped with paint on to white card stock and cut out once dry leaving a white edge. I used the Fancy Pants collection 'back to school'.
**sigh** how we love this place.
Right back to reality and back to work now : )
I'm teaching and cropping tomorrow near me and I can not wait.
It's such a lovely group of ladies and I'm taking a good friend along too, so even better and my sweet friend Anne has had her baby and both will be coming.
It's going to be a good weekend.
Hope you have a lovely weekend too.
Lots of love xxx

Addicted to Mini Art
Today I have some teeny art to share.
I love these mini canvases.
They are so fun and quick to make.
Just perfect when you want to get creative and messy but don't have a whole afternoon in which to do so.
When I met the Cocoa Daisy girls at CHA I took each one a little gift. This included a mini canvas for each girl.
Here are the ones I made for Denise.
And for Ronda.

Having some kinda Crate Paper fun
Yes I have been doing just that.
I love the collection 'Fourteen' by Crate.
It's me.
Hearts, pinks, some blue. Fun with a little vintage thrown in.
Love it.
Ade and I are throwing a Valentines dinner party in a couple of weeks.
You can read more about it here as I'm making and blogging for Papermaze today.
Here's a little look at what I've been making with the lush 'Fourteen' goodies.
So much fun and I love party planning.
I have a navy dress that would be perfect for this night. It has a heart shape cut out on the chest, but I would need to loose a little weight first. Might just have ti wear something else instead : )
Please leave me some love on Papermaze today, thanks xxx

I'm so looking forward to this day. We haven't all cropped together since before Christmas.
I will hold my class from 10.30am for about an hour and a half.
We will be covering controlled misting techiques along with layering and journaling ideas.
You can read more about it here.
And then after the class everyone crafts, eats cake, drinks tea and chats.
It's the perfect Saturday.
I can't wait...can you tell : )

He Thought She Was My Sister
Hello.
I hope you had a good weekend.
I have another LO today from my Cocoa Daisy Gallery using the 'Double Take' kit.
I love the mixtures of coloures in this kit. Everyone in the team loved it.
I needed to break up the pink background slightly so I used this fab Bubbles Stencil with a white Maya Mist. I added some glitter stickles to some of the bubble too.
The heart was a Cocoa Daisy stamp that I stitched around.
The Alphabet Thickers were red, so I stamped them over with this Prima Chalk White Ink and then covered in Stickles for some extra sparkle. This white ink works so well.
Once of my fave photos of the trip to CHA wa sthis one of Denise and I.
I love this girl so much. We were so sad when she had to leave. This was just as we were getting ready to say our goodbyes. The when her shuttle bus driver came along and we were both crying he asked if we were sisters.
And lastly before I head off to get the kids up for school, there are still a few more of the Cocoa Daisy project kits left. You can grab one here if you were tempted. I highly recommend : )

Introducing 'Love Letters' - Cocoa Daisy
I'm so proud of this little project kit that I've put together for Cocoa Daisy.
It's so special to me.
I've just posted all about it on the Cocoa Daisy blog here if you fancy seeing more photos, hearing the story behind it and finding out how to buy it.
Please let me know what you think after you read the post.
Thanks : )
