We have yucky, mucky, sleety snow.
It's cold, wet and not very fun.
I did have a fab weekend though, so who cares about the weather?!!
I went along to my local crop and shared a wonderful day with a lovely group of friends. I no longer call them girls or ladies as they have become 'friends'. It was so good to sit, scrap and drink tea.
I taught a little class and got rather misty hands : )
A worked on our Cocoa Daisy sketch challenge that is running until the 19th Feb.
You can see the sketch and challenge here if you fancy playing.
It's worth just taking a look to see Emily's sample layout. I love how she just simplified it so beautifully. So different to mine. That's what I love about sketches.
Here's mine.
I used this months 'Double Feature' kit
Christine has managed to put some more extra kits together if you missed out on this months kit.
It sold out so fast again. I can understand why though, it's just stunning and so lovely to play with.
You can buy a kit here.
I love these little wooden arrows from Freckled Fawn. There are loads in with the main kit. All shaped and sizes.
I documented a fave story from our Orlando holiday. It's one that kept making us laugh. It's just funny to us as Ade is tubby and we tease him sometimes.
Here's the story.
I hope you feel inspired to play along with us at Cocoa Daisy.
I set up a thread on the message board this morning to come and chat about the challenge.
Come and join us.
I have a poorly Louis at home today. He has a nasty headache : (
Poor baby.
See you tomorrow xxx
