1,2,3,4 - Hello Again!!

Hello!!
This one ended up being my favourite LO that I made with my Cocoa Daisy Kit this month.
I'd already uploaded gallery and then this one kind of just effortlessly happened.
Anything with bright happy colours makes me happy.

So on this day we'd gone to this beautiful little neighbourhood on Disney property called 'Celebration'. It's picture book beautiful. We love to spend an afternoon here. Have a walk around the lakes, looking out for exciting nature and stop for ice cream floats at the ice cream parlour.

Ade's parents had kindly given us a little money at Easter instead of chocolate, so I saved it in our Orlando fund and said we'd treat ourselves and think of them when on holiday. So that's what we did. We stopped for ice cream floats and said a thank you to Gill and Gerald. We took a selfie to send them whilst we were there.

This is the beautiful view as you sit on the rocking chairs at the waterfront. Isn't it beautiful?
I marked off on the first photo where we took our photo from, under those green brollies. And the second is our view. Watching the herons, storks, terrapins and looking out for gators.

I loved this kit so much.
I used some of the free printables that you get sent with the monthly kit.
I love the pops of colour that they add.
I also added those pretty flowers by cutting them out from the Crate Paper in the kit and colouring them in with pastels using a sponge applicator for a softer effect.

I'm happy with this one.

Thanks for stopping by today and Happy March to you xxx

I Love Pumkin Oh Yes I Do!!!!!

I feel like that title should be sung.
''I Love Pumpkin Oh Yes I do''.
''Tra la la la la la la la laaaaaaaaa''.

That's how much I love them!!!

So much so that I made a LO about them too.

Whilst in the US last month I had as many different pumpkin dishes as possible.
The Cheesecake Factory cheesecake was amazing. Lots of pecans and caramel. So Good!! But on our first ever visit to Dennys, they won best pancake dish. Hands down!!

Those pumpkin pancakes were just the best pancakes I've ever had. With pumpkin spice whipped cream and cinnamon sugar. Yum!!
I bought some pumpkin spice back with me and have been recreating my own and using it in cream for pumpkin cake. It's so good!!

This LO is featured on the Cocoa Blog today with tips on how to use these free printables that come with each monthly kit. See here.

Happy Monday to you xxx

Here I Am!!

I'm still here.
Just busy with kids off school and work.
I seem to find juggling the 2 harder as the kids are getting older.
Surely it shouldn't be that way, should it?!!

I have a LO to share from the April Cocoa Daisy Kit today along with the new sneaks of the new May Kit 'Here I am'. Cool Kit name!!

I had so much fun making this LO here.

I created upon white cardstock but took a craft knife to a piece of 12x12 patterned to cut my border around the outside.
I started off making puddles : )

With Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze, but you can use mists too.
I brushed it around abit.

And then took a Cocoa Daisy heart stamp that came in the April kit, pressed it in to my inky puddles and stamped over the page here and there.

I used Martha's 'Panda Eight' printables that come with the kit subs. I love working with these.
Just print them, cut them and away you go.

This was in March, it was the first warm day of Spring and also happened to be the weekend of our wedding anniversary and the weekend before my birthday.
My sister and her family came over for the day.
It was such a nice day.
We had dresses and sandals on and walked to our local pub with the kids.
We sat outside whilst they played with a ball.
Bliss!!

And now here I am waiting for my May Cocoa Daisy kit to arrive.
I love the anticipation.
It was sent at the end of last week, so it could be anytime from the weekend onwards : )
Here are the sneaks for now to keep us going.

I'm sorry for not blog hopping lately, like I said before I'm struggling with kids and work and keeping it all running smoothly.
It should all get back to normal again next week : )

I hope you are enjoying the Spring so far.
Lots of love xxx
