Hello,
Firstly, thank you to those who joined in with the Punky Scraps Blog Hop yesterday.
I still need to visit some of those blogs. The ones I did visit were amazing. Thank you to those of you who stopped by and sharing : )
I have another Cocoa Daisy LO to share with you today.
The new kit goes on sale on the 1st don't forget.
(click on pic)
I really focused on these Heidi Swapp papers for this LO.
There's a bit of a paper fest going on here with this one.
I love the combo of blues with that tiny touch of orange. Those contasts really appeal to me. I used some of the brighter blue paper and to make a bigger deal out of that colour I spread some similar colour acrylic paint on the paper too.
I love those stars!! I cut those from the Heidi Swapp paper that came with the paper addon.
I also add this to my kit every month. For a small cost it really helps stretch that kit.
My subject for this LO was a weekend to NYC back in the late 90's. I think it was 97.
I can't find the album and it was before digital and before I scrapbooked. I did find this photo though very recently and these papers gave me the push to document the whole weekend.
If you get the Cocoa Daisy Kits then you will know with each main kit all the little bits and pieces are packaged in to a cute little vellum envelope. I always keep these to one side once I've used the bits. This month I cut mine down and used it for a place to keep my trip report. Everything is documented and kept safe now.
I cut another star from the pretty paper and stuck it to a paper clip to hold it all down neat.
This LO leaves me with a good feeling.
It's like this whole exciting trip of mine could have so easily have been forgotten, but now it's been documented it feels safe now.
Don't forget to grab yourself a kit tomorrow : )
I shall say goodbye now.
We have friends over for dinner tonight so I'm about to start some prepping and I want to clear out the snack cupboard. I would also like to point out that such a cupboard did not exist in this house until a certain Mr A moved in!!!
Enjoy your evening xxx

Punky Scraps Blog Hop
Hello and Welcome to my Blog and to the Punky Scraps Blog Hop if you are playing along and coming from Marie's blog.
If you are new to my blog I'm Lisa.
I've been scrapping since 2004 and love to get messy fingers.
I love to create fun LO's with bright colours.
And I love to tell a story.
Quite often a silly one...
I tend to use mists and inks on my LO's and often get the needle and thread out although I never sew on fabric but wish I could.
I love used paints ...
and smearing moulding paste
But mostly I just love scrapping about these two little people.
Here's the order of the Blog Hop if you want to join in and start at the beginning.

The Story of.....(Lilybee Mini Book)
Hello.
I have a new mini book to share with you today.
It's so colourful.
I've used a variety of Lilybee designs papers from the 'double dutch' collection along with some of their older papers too.
(click on pics to enlarge)
I've also used Maya Mists & Inks & Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze and some Crafters Workshop and Tando Creative templates.
The book has been made for Ade's cousin John and his new fiance Hannah.
We are heading out to their party in a little while.
I've made this based on the ideas of the mini book that I made Hollie for her 13th.
Each page has been made for them to fill in all their own journaling and photos.
And the back of the book with their initials.
I really hope that they will like it.
The reveal chat has already started at Cocoa Daisy this morning.
Come by and take a look.
This months gallery is amazing.
It will be revealed in full later on tonight (9PM EST)
Enjoy your Saturday crafty friends.
Lots of love xxx

Inchie Art
Today it was slightly sunny and warm.
Not only did I feel in the mood for wearing a dress, I also was in the mood for creating this.
(click pics to enlarge)
It has been so much fun to make.
I'm calling this 'Inchie Art' as the inspiration has come from 'inchies'. Although the little pieces of art aren't actually inch sized, they are each little pieces of mini art.
This will be my September class at Sparkle Dreams in Swindon.
Sunday 23rd September.
Each person will be making their own unique piece of art on this large canvas to take home.
It's a great way to learn lots of new techniques using a variety of different art mediums and supplies. I'm already so excited about this class.
I've added the class to my website here if you want more details on how to sign up.
I will prewarn you though. Looking at my rainbowed coloured hands.....you will get messy : )
Off to teach this class in Swindon tomorrow.
My sister has her eye on this little house and reacons it will look better in her home than mine.
I disagree!!
I hope you are having a lovely weekend xxx
