NOW 13 - Mini Book

Thank you for all the sweet messages here and on Facebook for Hollie on her 13th Birthday yesterday.
She said she had the best birthday ever. Infact we all had a fab day.
After school we went out for Mexican at our local Chiquitos and had an amazing and very relaxed meal. The kids had their first (non alchohol) cocktail and then we had a wander after in the empty shopping mall.

I made her this 'Now 13' Mini Book using mostly my Cocoa Daisy addon' Pencil Tin' along with some of the pp paper from 'Take Note' addon and the main kit.

 
I made the cover from a piece of old cardboard and some really old thickers.
I painted the 'NOW 13' Tattered Angels' Glimmer Glam and Glimmer Glaze. Then added some thick Crackle Glaze to get this cool effect. I love how it has dripped.

I made a hole in each side of the cover so I could tie it together with ribbon and added an old key. (I bought 47 of them on Ebay : )   )

 

I then decorated the pages.

Something I love about Hollie is what an amazingly good big sister she is.

 

I've left some bits for Hollie to fill out her self and have finished it this morning with some photos from her actual day yesterday.

I also used most of this months Cocoa Daisy stamps here.

And the orangey ink around the edges of the book is a Jenni Bowlin ink 'Chicken Feed' here.
I love this colour.
