My Urge....and my win : )

Yet another funny ol' week with no routine. Snow last week, poorly Louis this week. I've decided to keep him off tomorrow aswell now. He's much better but only actually started eating again this evening. Such a relief, he's a skinny bean at the best of times. But it's school holidays for a week from tomorrow ...yay !!!

I forgot to share this LO with my lil blog. I started it at Sue's last month. It was for a competition on UKS. The LO was to be inspired by a book cover. Think it was a crime mystery novel. It was turquoise with a faint black drawing of London (big ben & houses of parliment) in the background....this is what I came up with.

This LO is all about my urge to travel. It's such a love of mine and we haven't been abroad since we got married nearly 2 years ago....I feel such an urge to go off again somewhere..... well Ade and I are off for a spa break for 2 nights in the New Forest next week, but that doesn't count and we've decided to go to Charmouth, Dorset (fossil hunting) for Easter, but that doesn't really count either. I sound like an ungrateful moo I know....but it doesn't ease my urge to go go .
I've been lucky enough to have worked for an airline when I was very young, so got to go away lots and I guess growing up abroad gave me the bug too. I just can't describe that feeling though...the love to explore and learn.
I scribbled the places that I've been lucky enough to go to, around the outside of the LO, but since photographing I keep remembering other places I've been to, started making another list around the edge now.
Oh and by the way...I won the competition : )
I'm supposed to be cleaning my scrappy studio, but keep getting side tracked xx
