Cocoa Daisy ,Heidi Swapp Papers and a Trip to NYC

Hello,

Firstly, thank you to those who joined in with the Punky Scraps Blog Hop yesterday.
I still need to visit some of those blogs. The ones I did visit were amazing. Thank you to those of you who stopped by and sharing : )

I have another Cocoa Daisy LO to share with you today.
The new kit goes on sale on the 1st don't forget.

I really focused on these Heidi Swapp papers for this LO.
There's a bit of a paper fest going on here with this one.
I love the combo of blues with that tiny touch of orange. Those contasts really appeal to me. I used some of the brighter blue paper and to make a bigger deal out of that colour I spread some similar colour acrylic paint on the paper too.

I love those stars!! I cut those from the Heidi Swapp paper that came with the paper addon.
I also add this to my kit every month. For a small cost it really helps stretch that kit.

My subject for this LO was a weekend to NYC back in the late 90's. I think it was 97.
I can't find the album and it was before digital and before I scrapbooked. I did find this photo though very recently and these papers gave me the push to document the whole weekend.

If you get the Cocoa Daisy Kits then you will know with each main kit all the little bits and pieces are packaged in to a cute little vellum envelope. I always keep these to one side once I've used the bits. This month I cut mine down and used it for a place to keep my trip report. Everything is documented and kept safe now.
I cut another star from the pretty paper and stuck it to a paper clip to hold it all down neat.

This LO leaves me with a good feeling.
It's like this whole exciting trip of mine could have so easily have been forgotten, but now it's been documented it feels safe now.

Don't forget to grab yourself a kit tomorrow : )

I shall say goodbye now.
We have friends over for dinner tonight so I'm about to start some prepping and I want to clear out the snack cupboard. I would also like to point out that such a cupboard did not exist in this house until a certain Mr A moved in!!!

Enjoy your evening xxx

I got the patterned paper add on just because of those blue stars. I love them.
