I'm loving getting back into Project Life again.
Here is a page that I made with my March Cocoa Daisy Kit.

These colours just shout out Spring!!

There's loads of inspiration.
Do you also scrap PL???
Let me know : )

My Return to Project Life

When I started Project Life a couple of years ago I promised myself that I wouldn't get hung up on week numbers and dates.
If I did it great and if I didn't then I would just miss a week or two....but that turned to 3 and then 4 and then a few more.
Six months later and I'm back to it again.
For so long I keep saying to myself that I must get my album out again.
So I did last week and I'm back to it again.

I've made a couple of weeks and I'm happy to be back.

I made this page with some Simple Stories papers and stickers from Papermaze.

Project Life and some Cards

It's been another one of those weeks.
What is it with me lately??!!!
Just when you think nothing else can go wrong.
Thankfully it's all fixable and nothing life threatening, but it is all really getting to me.

So after a week of pc problems.
I am fully working again. Phew!!!
I have a little catching up to do here.

I have Project Life stuff.
I made this with my June Cocoa Daisy Kit.

I dedicated the whole page to a trip to London back in April.
I turned the gold hearts that were in the kit, misted them in hot pink and stamped over in red to get the right deep pink tone that I needed.

I used the 'day in the life' kit for this page.
For some more Project Life inspiration, take a look at this blog post here
I put it together for Cocoa Daisy yesterday. It's what all the others on the team made with their 'day in the life' kits. You would not believe that they've all been made with the same little kit.
There are a few more of these kits available here.

And a couple of cards made using my kit too.

I have so much catching up to do in the land of blog.
I hope you are all well. xxx

A Day in the Life

What does a day in your life look like?
Do you document it?

I'm up to mid Feb in my PL Album.
I really regretted not getting the 'day in the life' kit from Cocoa Daisy this month, but made my page using my main kit and bits and pieces from the Blue Ridge addon.

It was a pretty uneventful week. The rain was still coming down. I took a photo out the front of our house one day. It was so bad.

I documented how awful the late night storms had been and how scary and all the trees that had come down in the village. There was a visit to my sister for her birthday. (that's our hands making a heart together)

I love the October Afternoon Washi so much. It's so cool!!
I made a little pocket with the glassine envelope from the kit.

So that's what this week looks like.
Pretty uneventful, but I like looking back on the album as it's increasing in size. I'm so pleased that I started it.

There are some great tips for Project Life on the Cocoa Daisy blog today.
Thanks for popping in xxx

Documenting December

How's it going with the Christmas Scrapping?
I struggle with this every year. However this year I may just have found a way that works for me.

I have a blog post all about it at Papermaze here today.

And my story.

I know I'm odd. I just can't help it : )

On that little note I shall leave you and wish you a good day xxx

SN@P!

Hello and a Happy Monday to you!!
I hope you had a good weekend.
I'm stopping by today with a Project Life double page.
A very colourful one at that.

I've just blogged for Papermaze with some hints and tips when using the Simple Stories SN@P! cards. You can see the post here.

I'm surprised I've stuck at PL. I've been going out it since April and I love being able to look back through the album.
Who knows, maybe I'll even manage a December Daily this year???
It'll be a first if I do.

See you soon. xxx

Project Life

So, the Cocoa Daisy 'Sweater Weather' Kit was revealed last night.
I've enjoyed this kit so much. I'm currently on my 8th project using it right now.
Not bad going.
It's really inspired me.

One of the things I did do with it was a Project Life page.

The colours this month really work for me. They are my chosen colours.
I guess that's why I found this kit so easy to work with.

I grabbed 2 addons this month. Twinset and Cable Knit.

I love the woodgrain Thickers in the main kit. I teamed them up with the alpha stickers here from the 'Twinset Addon'.

And I just love the tree and mini leaf stamps this month too. Cute!!

So that's the start of my Cocoa Daisy work this month.
I will share more tomorrow.

Off to fix Piri Piri Chicken with Bombay Potatoes.
Fancied a Sunday dinner with a change this week.

Hope you've had  a good weekend xx

Project Life

I've neglected my Project Life pages recently.
There's been a lot going on. But I always promised myself when I decided to scrap this way that I wouldn't number my weekly pages and I wouldn't put any stress on myself. I would just do it as and when I fancied. So I'm ok with missing out a few weeks here and there.

Here is my page that I made using my Cocoa Daisy addon 'Daisy Special' this month.

I documented a few days when Dad was over including a day in London.
I used one of the glassine envelopes that comes with the kits to hold our train tickets.

We have a whole blog page dedicated to these pages over at Cocoa Daisy today.

Off to fix lunch now. We are enjoying the last 3 days of school holiday.

A Day in the Life - May

I am loving all this sunshine and blue sky business lately.
I hope it stays around for a while.

I've been keeping up with Project Life.
Go Me!

I got the Cocoa Daisy 'A Day in the Life Kit' this month.
It's soooo good and jam packed with goodies. Exclusive Simple Stories/Cocoa Daisy cards, word stickers, embellishments and exclusive Cocoa Daisy Stamps too.

Here's what I made.

I love these stamps!!

And some bits added from our travels this week.

The Day in the Life kits have reduced postage and no added postage at all when bought with a Cocoa Daisy Main kit by the end of the 3rd each month.

I've put together a blog post on Cocoa Daisy today showing the kit and how we on the DT used it this month. Come and see here.

Thanks xxx

The Everyday Stuff

Hi.
It's Wednesday, it's raining and my mug is empty.
Not good.
I must go and make another latte in a sec.
How's the week going for you?

It's everyday stuff here today.

I've been doing some more with my Project Life-ish.
I'm enjoying keeping bits and pieces like receipts and tickets in my PL box ready to use. It feels good to record everyday stuff without having to make a whole 12x12 page about it.

I've put a blog post together for Papermaze which is live today here.
There are some more PL pages and some tips on cool photo editing and printing off instagram pics.

I've started back at work on my Orlando Trip Report. It's time consuming, but I kept a photo and written diary whilst away because I wanted to look back on the trip in detail like this, so I need to make an effort to continue. It's so fun to look back on.
I managed to get 2 more days done yesterday.
I've added a link on my sidebar today of the report in progress. Here's a link if you fancy a nose.
541 days to go until we are back again : )

And finally today my Kitchenaid mixer is due for delivery.
How happy am I?????
I really wanted Ice Blue but it was out of stock, so Ade bought it for my birthday last month and I received a printed photo on the day.
I can't wait for it to arrive.

I need to make that second mug of latte now.
It feels so chilly today.
Thanks for stopping by. xxx

I caved....

...and I started 'Projectlifeish'.

I keep seeing all these pretty papers and journal cards, so I've decided to give it a whirl.
I've started with the 6x4 - 12x12 page protectors to start and made my first page yesterday.
I loved it!!
I've decided to keep it stress free, no commitment and do it as and when I can and see how it goes.

It's helped as I've recently started instagramming and I'm loving the little snippets of my life and decided that I wanted these all documented.

I'm keeping it basic.
It's all about the stories after all.

All these MMe papers and Journal cards are from the new collection which I bought from 'Papermaze' here. 'Collectable'. I love these collections.

You can follow me on instagram here if you wish.
Do you do project life too?
