Bonjour!
I'm a little behind with my blogging.
I thought I would share this LO with you today that I made about a lunch cruise I took in Paris with my girlfriends in November.
It's been made using lots of Teresa Collins' 'he said she said'. I love these colours.
I got some of the little sticky notes from this range in a Cocoa Daisy addon. They are so cute, like little post it notes. I popped one under the 'this day' stick that I added a foam 3d pad to.
This crusie along the Seine was amazing and I highly recommend it.
One of the girls I went with booked it and we all had an amazing time. A beautiful glass boat, you get your own table so you don't feel squashed at all and you receive an a la carte 3 course lunch whilst being sung to a rather young hot French man playing the accordian. That was the case for us anyway. We were very happy girls, the wine I'm sure helped with that too of course.
It was just perfect.
Here is the link if you are planning a trip to Paris.
I gave my Mum's friend the details and she went on it last week and enjoyed it as much as we did.
I made this LO for a challenge I'm hosting on Cocoa Daisy right now.
We are scraplifting Diana's style.
Come and see here.
Thank you.
Have a fun day xxx

April's Forecast - Cocoa Daisy
Hellooooooo.
How was your weekend?
We had a sudden snowday which was so welcomed.
Louis' footy got cancelled and we stayed in pjs' in the family room all day. We watched movies, ate cake, had lattes/hot choccies and I sat on the floor all day and eve and scrapped with my new Cocoa Daisy kit.
I manged 4 LO's and my new Project Life page.
I'd love to show you more but for now this is all I'm allowed to show : )
What do you think?
Spot anything you like stash wise?
We have new sneaks for the other DT members appearing on the Cocoa Daisy Boards everyday.
Come and see here for more sneaky peekies. The full reveal will be on the 28th.
Yesterday I was in Swindon in the sweet Sparkle Dreams store all day teaching.
It was the perfect day. Small groups, all regulars, like scrapping with friends, drinking tea and eating cakes.
I'd love to day that I'm off back to my scrappy desk, I wish. I have so much work on right now and took another big job on today with it VERY short deadline.
So it's back to work for me now.
Thank you for stopping by today xxx

Our Story - My Minds Eye Mini Book
Hello and welcome to my little blog today.
Lifes been getting in the way again and I haven't been blogging as much as I want to.
Don't tell anyone, but until last night I hadn't created anything for just over a week. That's so unlike me. But last night I made up for it and made this little book.
I'm really pleased with it.
It's My Minds Eye for starters. I just love those colours and it's for my Mum.
I know she will love it.
She was looking after an elderly lady for quite some time and became really close to her. She sadly passed recently and Mum's really missing her. I thought at the time that Mum was doing too much. She's a full time florist and helps other elderly people too and she was spending so much time with this other lady. A couple of hours in the evenings putting her to bed etc.. but I now realise how close the bond was : (
Last night Mum was telling me again the things she missed about her and the cute little sayings she had. Mum said she was going to write them down, so now she can write them down here and add a couple of little photos too.
There's full instructions on how to make this plus lots more photos on Papermaze here today. All supplies can be bought from there too.
Thank you for staying with me eventhough I haven't been blogging and blog visiting as much lately.
Can you believe I'm still having dizzy spells after 4 weeks now? It's just when I get tired, but makes early morning and evening really hard going cutting down my work and creative time : (
It was my birthday yesterday though and I did get spoilt.
I will share with you another time. I have to get back to work now.
Lots of love xxx

Teaming up with my Cocoa Daisy Girls
Hello Lovelies!!!
It's dizzy Lisa here. I must sound so boring to everyone. 3 weeks in and still dizzy.
I'll change the subject already.
Something fun instead.
This month a group of us from Cocoa Daisy got together to play with glassine envelopes.
We get them in our main kits most months. Christine pops all the little bits and pieces inside these.
So we thought it would be fun to show some different ways to use them.
This is how I used mine this month.

I used it for my hidden journaling.
I do love to journal, but you don't always want the journaling itself to be the main focal point, so by popping it inside the little frosted envelope, the photos then remain the main focus of the page.
I told the story of how we were in Disney's Animal Kingdom watching the parade. This charachter came around, high 5'd Louis and kissed me on the head, HARD, REAL HARD. It gave me an instant headache which lasted the rest of the day : ( Mean bear/bunny thing)
I'd love you to check out the Cocoa Daisy blog post and see what the other girls have done with their glassine envelopes. It's a really cool blog post.
Thanks. Have a lovely day xxx

I caved....
...and I started 'Projectlifeish'.
I keep seeing all these pretty papers and journal cards, so I've decided to give it a whirl.
I've started with the 6x4 - 12x12 page protectors to start and made my first page yesterday.
I loved it!!
I've decided to keep it stress free, no commitment and do it as and when I can and see how it goes.
It's helped as I've recently started instagramming and I'm loving the little snippets of my life and decided that I wanted these all documented.
I'm keeping it basic.
It's all about the stories after all.

A Dolphin Saddle and a Sketch
It's time for the next Cocoa Daisy sketch challenge.
You can see it here.
I do love a circle it has to be said.
Here's my take on the sketch.
I used this months Cocoa Daisy kit. I've had so much fun with this kit.
I stitched the circle the wrong way round to get that thicker look. I wanted my circle to really stamnd out.
I've used a couple of Jenni Bowlin papers from the kit and I love these woodgrain thickers from the main kit too.
I wanted to add to my circles and used the Viewmaster stamp from Cocoa Daisy.
I stamped it on to vellum with a white Prima Chalk ink.
Now the thought behind this LO.
A close friend of mine Paula. ''Hi Paula'' **waves** were in Orlando at the same time. Paula is quite new to scrapbooking and has SO MUCH stuff. So we've started a little challenge of our own. We are getting our Florida LO's done and challenging each other to scrap the same photos each week. Last week we did Halloween this week it's Discovery cove.
I had this story I wanted to tell about Louis being nervous of swimming with the dolphins.
He loved it as you can see. But he really made us laugh.
Please take a look at the Cocoa Daisy sketch challenge hosted by my sweet friend Mandyk.
I totally love her LO. Come and play, you may even win $10 to spend with CD.
Lots of love xxx

His New Cap
Another Cocoa Daisy LO for you today.
The main kit and the addons are now on sale to everyone here.
Extra numbers have been added this month so it doesn't sell out so fast.
I made this LO about Louis and his new cap from when we were in Orlando.
I used the Websters Pages overlay in top of the grey cardstock and made some little flags.
This LO along with yesterdays have been featured on the Webster's Pages blog today along with a couple of LO's from Denise. There is also a $20 giveaway, so go check it out here.
Good Luck!!
Enjoy yoyr weekend and thanks for stopping by xx

These were my favourite Thickers from CHA. Aren't they cool???
I added a few yellow stitches over the top. It bought the colours together nicely.
I trimmed down the grey cardstock and had this little strip left over that curled up, so I stapled it to the bottom of the design and added some more stitches.
Good Luck!!

My Favourite LO Ever
I have LOVED this months Cocoa Daisy more than any other kit I think.
It's like Christine knew what all my best bits from CHA were and crammed them all into one kit.
I do confess that I did get every addon this month.
That may be a first from me and says a lot about this kit.
I created my favourite LO ever using these beautiful Webster's Pages papers. I just love Allison Kreft's collections.
I started with some moulding paste and a new Crafters Workshop Stencil (which is why it looks so clean!)
Added a little misting using my favourite CW mask 'Sunburst' using Maya Mists Pink Ginger and Cotton Candy Metallic.
As Feb is such a short month, the kits will go on sale to non subbers tomorrow here.
On that happy note I shall wish you a happy weekend.
Lots of love xxx
